The Concord
Origin
LoreThe Concord is the faction that wasn't pulled through whole. It formed after the Breach — survivors of a dozen shattered worlds, no shared language, no shared law, no way home, who banded together and imposed order on the wreckage. A coalition, not a people: the government nobody asked for, stitched from a dozen fragments' uniforms, statutes and grudges. That melting-pot is why they have a bit of everything and a peak of nothing — the reference point every other faction is measured against. It is also why they were first to study the Breach. The order-keepers learned what they found there, and they keep it filed where it can't be read: that the Breach did not happen. It was opened. On purpose. The Concord holds the line, runs the interface, names the sectors — and counts on no one asking why the clock is running down.

StabilityThe dependable all-rounder. The Concord field every arm in measured concert, and their forces roll a compressed spread on the lane — fumbles are mitigated and the floor on every outcome is clamped upward, so a Concord line is rarely blown out. The trade is written into the same mechanic: no clutch upset, a low ceiling to match the high floor. You win by being correct, not by being lucky.
Asymmetry
Plays intoSwingy, high-variance forces and lopsided armies that overcommit. The Concord just doesn't collapse — the specialist who stakes everything on one edge finds the answer already in formation, and no lucky break to bail them out.
A focused elite spike, or simply being flatly outmatched. Stability raises the floor; it gives nothing to climb back up with. Out-played at the extremes by anyone who commits to theirs.
