A man-made rift tore whole worlds out of their place and time and fused them into one patchwork world. It never stopped.

The Breach — a rift opened deliberately on the first world — began pulling whole worlds, across space and time, into one location, where they fused into a single patchwork world: the Breachlands. It is still happening. The Breach is unstable and still growing. New worlds keep coming through; the map keeps expanding. The Breachlands is not a finished place — it is an ongoing disaster. Year Zero is the opening of the Breach. The present is Year 11. The survivors of each pulled world fight over the wreckage, while the people who know the truth keep it filed where it cannot be read.
